Our Insights Team Effectiveness Program helps team members gain a unique insight into who they are and who their team members are and enables the group to explore how relationships can be optimized. This is achieved by examining individual style, team dynamics and the various inter-relationships between group members.

Our programs adopt a unique approach to team development, focusing both on improving relationships and interactions between team members as well as enabling the team to excel in the skills and capabilities required to meet individual and collective objectives.

While all programs can be tailored to the specific needs of the participants and the organization, here are some examples of popular Advanced Insights Team Effectiveness Workshops:
Advanced Teambuilding (For Managers and their Teams) – 6-8 hours
For teams that want to take the common language of the Insights “colors” to the next step through understanding the color composition of the team and the individuals that make up the team, we offer this program on advanced team building. This will support the team in doing much less “forming and storming” and more “norming and performing.”
Recognizing Color Energies (For All Levels) – 4-6 hours
This course focuses on how to recognize color energies in order to adapt and connect to others in the moment. Participants will be taught how to look for clues from body language, verbal style, interactions and work environments. They will practice the techniques learned and determine specific strategies for working effectively with others they encounter on a regular basis, including co-workers, managers, customers, and clients.
Participants will learn how to effectively manage, motivate and coach their individual team members using the concepts of Insights Discovery. The management chapter will be explored further and each participant will come away with strategies and actions they can immediately employ in their day-to-day interactions to develop and enhance the productivity of their team members.
Insightful Management (For Managers) – 4 hours
(Can be combined with Insightful Performance Feedback for a full day session.)
Insightful Performance Reviews and Feedback (For Managers) – 4 hours
For managers to learn how to provide recognition, feedback and conduct effective performance reviews using the language and concepts of Insights Discovery. Participants will become aware of their own color energies as well as that of the “reviewee” and use that knowledge to effectively provide both developmental and acknowledging feedback. The Insights Color Energy feedback model will be introduced and participants will learn to give “Data-Based” feedback.
(Can be combined with Insightful Management for a full day session.)
Building a High Performance Work Team (For Leadership Teams or Managers and their Teams)
(Utilizing the Insights Team Competencies Assessment)
Taking the “good” team to the next level of truly “high performing” takes focused attention and commitment from each individual on the team. This program focuses on understanding the current culture through a series of activities that include looking at 16-competencies of a team. It begins building the team culture of the future by identifying practical actions that the team can make to create this shift. This team culture of the future is your “High Performing Team!”
Transforming Team Culture – An Introduction (For Managers and their Teams)
This session will focus on building “team” through understanding one another’s strengths and challenges and learning how to give one another insightful feedback. It also takes a snapshot of the current team culture and starts to build the future team culture.
Meet the Manager (For Managers and their Teams)
This is a facilitated session to support the team in getting to know their manager. During this facilitation, the team manager will share elements from their Insights Discovery Profile. The manager will discuss their own strengths as a leader and some challenges, as well as their communication and decision making style. During this discussion, the team will be asked to support the manager. Data-based, open and honest feedback will be practiced through giving feedback to the manager around different topic areas.
Coaching and Mentoring for Development (For Supervisors and Managers) – 6-8 hours
Coaching is a skill that maximizes the ability to learn from experience and contributes to developing a high performing organization. Building positive relationships with your direct reports to improve talent retention, performance, and their sense of being valued is paramount. Participants will leave with tools and concepts as well as having practiced coaching skills that are immediately transferable to their everyday work situations. As a result of this course, participants will be able to distinguish a managing conversation from a coaching conversation and will know how to utilize each at the appropriate time. This course is not about giving participants more to do; it’s about making them more effective at what they already do.
